New! Urban Forestry Services
LandStudies is pleased to expand our services with our new Urban Forestry Department. Our urban forestry expert, Michael Dunn, works to preserve and protect existing tree cover so communities can address regulatory requirements while realizing the financial, environmental and aesthetic benefits of sustainable urban forests. Mike is a Board Certified Master Arborist (BCMA) and Municipal Specialist who brings over 20 years of experience to LandStudies and is eager to collaborate with community and borough planners and stakeholders to manage and optimize the urban forest infrastructure as a shared and valuable asset. New services include urban forest management plans, tree inventory tracking and valuation, canopy analysis and mapping, tree preservation, tree insect and disease diagnosis, tree risk assessment, among many other skills and specialties.
Our urban forestry department already has a heritage tree assessment underway in Wallace township and has recently completed a tree inventory and ecosystem benefits analysis for the Kendal Crosslands Communities in Kennett Square, PA.
