SWCS International Annual Conference

LandStudies’ Kelly Gutshall will be part of a joint training session as part of the Soil and Water Conservation Society’s 74th International Annual Conference. The conference title, Bridging the Divide: Uniting Rural and Urban Landscapes for Conservation, is an important topic in our region.

This training session will focus on watershed conservation to unify the urban and rural community. Other collaborators include Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center’s Matt Royer, Mount Joy Township’s Justin Evans, and Susquehanna River Basin Commission’s Jamie Shallenberger. The topic of this group’s session is titled, “Up a Creek with Many Paddles: Collaborative Watershed Science and Restoration in Mixed Ag and Urban Landscapes”.
