Part-time Administrative Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our creative and dedicated team of professionals as an administrative assistant.


LandStudies is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Business Development team and Project Managers. The ability to multi-task is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is a quick learner, resourceful and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position. There are many daily office needs which this position supports and handles. We are a smaller company that is looking for a great employee to help us keep growing. There is a potential for this to become a full-time position.

Main Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate various office activities
  • Receive and respond to calls and emails
  • Help with special projects as assigned
  • Organize tours
  • Coordinate events/meetings and prepare presentations
  • Attend internal office meetings and take minutes
  • Assist with proposal and grant preparation
  • Track initiatives
  • Assist with project related coordination

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of business correspondence including rules of grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple actions simultaneously with frequent interruptions and critical time constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible; patient and comfortable with changing priorities

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of similar administrative experience
  • Willingness to adapt and learn

Hours: 24-32 hours/week, typical hours are on weekdays between 8am-5pm
